Academic Support for Elementary and Middle School students
Early intervention is key for future success. C2’s proprietary programs guide students through their challenges with Math, Reading, Social Studies, and Science to ensure that they understand the content and build the skills to be successful. C2 starts with a diagnostic test to get a snapshot of what skills and content the student has mastered and then develops a plan for success with the student and parents. C2 meets with students and parents on a monthly basis to discuss progress and adjust the program if necessary.

“Parents want to do everything they can to support their students’ success. I have a passion for helping families through this challenging process. C2 offers an excellent program to help students build the skills they need to be successful in school, college, and career. The best part of my job at C2 is working with families, customizing a program to support the student, and seeing the smiles on their faces when they achieve.”
Program Lead, Erica Tomory, has been with C2 since 2014 and has worked in the Stony Brook, Plainview, and Commack locations. Her specialty is special education, and she holds four New York State teaching licenses, a Bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College, a Master’s Degree from Ashford University, and is currently studying for her Doctor of Education degree at Capella University. Erica can easily relate to how students feel about having a full plate and wanting the very best for their own education.
“Talking to students in the lobby while they are waiting for their session to begin is my favorite part of working at C2. It gives them a chance to get their worries off their chest, tell me the funny story from school, and ask my advice on how to balance all the different things going on in their lives. I enjoy helping students enter their session with a clear head so they are in the right frame of mind. Watching scores and grades increase is the icing on the cake!”
