SAT Prep in Rockville, MD

C2 Education’s Rockville tutoring center has been a fixture in the local education community since 2003. In that time, the tutoring center has helped hundreds of students improve their grades and test scores in order to earn admission at some of the nation’s top colleges and universities. C2 Rockville’s most popular academic programs include SAT and ACT prep, but the tutoring center also provides schoolwork and homework help, AP course support and exam prep, PSAT prep, and preparation for high school admission exams including the ISEE, SSAT, and Thomas Jefferson High School of Science and Technology Entrance Exam.

C2 Rockville’s Program Director, Sunny Chung, is incredibly dedicated to her students. She works tirelessly to help each student achieve and exceed their goals. Each C2 Rockville student begins his or her program with an academic assessment designed to pinpoint academic strengths and areas for improvement. With these results, Sunny meets with the student and his or her parents to discuss the results, establish academic goals, and create a personalized plan to meet those goals.

Sunny leads a team of highly qualified tutors who have graduated from some of the nation’s best colleges and universities. One of C2 Rockville’s most experienced tutors is Elizabeth, who has been with C2 for over five years. Elizabeth studied English and History at Ohio State University before pursuing graduate school. She holds a J.D. from the Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University and an M.A. from American University. Elizabeth gained a great deal of teaching experience before joining C2. She was a teacher and coach for high school law programs offered through Ohio Northern University, a teaching assistant at American University, and an Instructor in Global Public Health for the University of Maryland as part of the National Student Leadership Conference. Elizabeth greatly enjoys the time she spends with her students. “Watching students who struggled to write a paragraph as ninth graders create wonderful college application essays as twelfth graders is hugely gratifying to me as a teacher,” she says.

C2 Rockville students see amazing results. On average, they see an SAT score increase of 400 points resulting in an average score of 2100 or higher. Last year, C2 Rockville students earned admission to dozens of top colleges and universities, including Harvard University, Stanford University, Cal Tech, UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, and the University of Maryland at College Park.

C2 Rockville students come from many local schools, including Wootton High School, Blair High School, Richards Montgomery High School, and Churchill High School. The tutoring center is conveniently located off of Wootton Avenue near Capital One Bank.
