David Kim

Founder & Vice Chairman

While studying Economics at Harvard University, David became interested in the relationship between economics and education, a passion which inspired him to begin a tutoring service for local students. What began as a small tutoring service run out of a Harvard dorm room has grown into the C2 Education of today, with more than 180 centers nationwide.

In the years since C2 Education was founded, David has continued to contribute to his community by serving on the board of the Washington Youth Foundation and as a commissioner on the Montgomery County Commission on Children and Youth. His works have earned him recognition in such publications as Forbes Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, and Inc Magazine. Most recently, David has been touring the country talking to major media outlets about the new SAT.

Peter Waller

Chief Executive Officer

Peter’s broad global leadership experience as a board director and CEO in public and private consumer product and service companies ranging from market entries to multi-billion dollar enterprises is of great value to C2. The knowledge he gained serving as Board Director and CEO of Corinthian Colleges, Inc., Board Director of Websense, Board Director and CEO of ThreeSixty Sourcing, and President of Taco Bell, has helped steer C2 in its rapid growth.

Marty Moore

Chief Financial Officer

Marty is a proven leader serving as CFO for multiple private equity-based companies ranging from healthcare to manufacturing to retail.  He comes to us with a strong passion for education and has served on the board of non-profit colleges. His two decades of experience have allowed him to successfully partner with CEOs and investors to drive successful changes, effectuate rapid turnarounds and implement profit improvement strategies for the companies he has served.

Andrew Lobo

Chief Human Resources Officer

Previously he was Chief People Officer for Arhaus LLC – a rapidly growing luxury furniture designer and retailer. Before Arhaus, Andrew held several HR Roles at Coca-Cola including Director of Talent Development, Director of Talent Acquisition, Director of Human Capital Planning, and Manager of Organizational Effectiveness. In addition to this, Andrew has extensive experience in strategy, finance and marketing for several companies including The Zyman Group, The Sports Authority and The Seagram Company Ltd. His industry experience includes consumer packaged goods; retail; and professional services. Andrew also brings entrepreneurial and supply chain experience to HR, having co- founded a supply chain software company, raised $55 million in venture funding; and consulted to several early stage businesses.

Andrew is a CPA, has a BS From St. Peter’s College in Jersey City NJ and a MBA from The Owen Graduate School of Business at Vanderbilt in Nashville TN.

Robert Settembro

Vice President, National Operations

Robert’s career started in the fitness industry where he discovered his passion for leadership. With over seventeen years of experience in operations with a heavy focus in sales management, Robert’s roles have been diverse, including recently heading operations and sales for over 400 locations. Robert is known for being dedicated, passionate, and committed to his team and his organization.

Robert attended the University of Massachusetts and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management. He is certified in Lean Six Sigma and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt. He considers himself a lifelong learner and is currently working towards a Master Six Sigma Black Belt while also completing his MBA through the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management.

Jim Narangajavana

Co-Founder & Vice President

Jim is the Co-Founder of C2 Education. During his undergraduate years at Harvard (A.B. Biochemical Sciences), Jim volunteered his weekends to help underprivileged students increase their SAT scores and gain college admission.

After graduating from Harvard, he continued his passion for teaching and developed the educational systems unique to C2. Currently, he is involved in ensuring the high quality of teaching, the training of teachers, and the development of new curriculum and products.

Whitney Myers

Vice President, Operations Services and Academics

Prior to joining C2 Education, Whitney spent 11 years at Kaplan Test Prep, where she first started as an SAT and GRE instructor and quickly developed a passion for the education industry. She subsequently took on a variety of general management and business development roles, most recently as the Regional Director for New England.

While she maintains close ties to New England and the Mid-Atlantic, Whitney is thrilled to be part of the C2 Education team in Atlanta, where she leads the operations team.
