C2 Education’s Majors and Careers Workshop will be hosted by Ms. Francis Kevers, a UCLA Certified College Counselor and graduate of MIT. Ms. Kevers, a member of MIT’s Educational Counsel, will offer her years of college counseling experience to help students learn how best to select a major and plan for a career. During the workshop, Ms. Kevers will share the following insights:
- 1) Regarding why picking a major is important.
- 2) How your personality might affect your career choices.
- 3) How to pick a career that will take you places.
Attendees will also be put in the role of a college student as they complete the worksheets and materials provided to real Stanford students through their Career Development Center.
