David Chalk, Head Instructor, New York, NY

The Right Stuff.
David graduated with a degree in English from George Mason University, studied Shakespeare and Medeival Studies at Cambridge University, and received his Masters from St. John’s College.

In 2005, David was named C2’s Verbal Instructor of the Year.

The Walking Dictionary
“I actually hated high school. I decided to get into teaching because I wanted to make other kids’ high school experiences better than mine. Working with my students is an absolute joy. Plus, I’m really good at taking standardized tests and know lots of big words. My students call me “The Walking Dictionary.”
