Misha, Seventh Grader, Virginia
Self-Described Personality.
Talkative, funny and creative.
Life Outside the Classroom.
Outside of school, Misha keeps
busy by playing the piano, attending swim practice at the community center, and
learning how to figure skate. In fact, she just learned how to complete a full
turn.
Academic Bragging Rights.
Two years ago, Misha was falling
behind in math. With lots of hard work and determination, she turned things around.
Now, she says, “I’m doing better in math, ahead of the rest of my
class.” Earlier this year, Misha also won a C2 vocabulary competition
in her age group.
The C2 Advantage.
When she first enrolled, Misha was not
at all happy about giving up her free time to attend classes at C2. Now, she
is studying extra hard to prepare for the entrance exam to the prestigious Thomas
Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. This is what she has to say
about C2 teachers: “They’re really nice and explain things really
well. Whenever I have any trouble remembering something, they give me a mnemonic
to help me out, and it works.”
Big Dreams.
Misha is not exactly sure what she wants to do when
she gets older, but knows she wants to attend college and is leaning towards
a career in biology. “I love the way everything in life is connected and
how everything is made up of millions of smaller pieces.”

Smart essays focus on well-structured arguments. Grammar and spelling are secondary and give you no score advantage.
