On Saturday, July 21, C2 Education hosted a grand opening ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new location in Hacienda Heights/Walnut, California.

The festivities included a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by the Mayor of Walnut, Ms. Mary Su, the CEO of the local Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Steven Ly, and a member of the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District Board of Education, Mr. Jay F. Chen, as well as the whole C2 crew.

The grand opening events, attended by roughly forty local students and parents, also included an award ceremony for local students and for the top performers in C2 Education’s 2012 Southern California SAT Challenge. The winner of the SAT Challenge, Chaney Tse, received a scholarship worth $1,000, and the raffle winner from the SAT Challenge received a new iPad. Other local students received awards for earning admission to some of the nation’s top colleges and universities, earning amazing SAT scores, and earning impressive grades in school.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, C2 Education COO Jamie Davidson accepted awards from the Mayor of Walnut, California and from the Hacienda La Puenta Board of Education.
